Ilona Hale - President
Ilona and her husband, Dave and two teenage boys, Emerson and Oliver, have been enjoying all that Kimberley has to offer in its beautiful mountains and trails for about 20 years. As a family doctor, Ilona believes that helping people stay healthy through more physical activity and healthier eating just makes a lot of sense!

Jeff Vallance - Director
Jeff and Lorian and their three kids (Kaitlyn, Ben and Rhys) recently made the long overdue decision to move to Kimberley and enjoy being outside all throughout the year. Jeff is a Professor and Canada Research Chair (in health promotion and chronic disease management) at Athabasca University and currently leads several national and international physical activity and sedentary behaviour research initiatives. Jeff can be found jogging the trails in the mornings with his two Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers, Sydney and Crosby. He’s excited to learn from, and contribute to Healthy Kimberley, so that Kimberley continues to be a vibrant and healthy community in which to work, live, and play. |
