Shenoa Runge -
Senior's Balance & Mobility Program Lead Shenoa is born and bred in Kimberley. As a physical activity and movement professional Shenoa works with all segments of the community from athletes and weekend warriors at Creekside Physiotherapy to seniors and those with chronic health conditions with Moving Into Wellness . Her professional passions revolve around encouraging and supporting ALL citizens to move well and move often. When not at work, she spends her time in her garden, exploring the local mountains and valleys on skis, bike, or in climbing shoes and sharing her love for this community and region with her son, Finnegan. |
Dianne Murphy-
Senior's Wellness In Motion Program Lead Dianne is a long-time resident of Kimberley. She and her husband have raised three children here. Following her retirement from her work at the Kimberley Special Care Home and the Kimberley Hospital, she has continued to contribute to the community as a volunteer with the S.W.I.M. (Senior's Wellness in Motion) program as well as Seniors Helping Seniors. Like so many Kimberley residents she and her husband take advantage of the many camping, biking and other outdoor activities that the area provides. |
Shannon Duncan - Food Recovery Manager
Born & raised in Kimberley and engaged in the non-profit sector for longer than she can remember, Shannon’s passions for healthy living, creative thinking and community building have led to a diversity of experiences & education. Ranging from food security, systems & literacy, market gardening, herbalism, anthropology and dance, all come into play in her role of Manager of the Food Recovery Depot. Outside of work time, she treasures time with family and friends, taking deep breaths in the wilderness & being inspired by the patterns of nature. |
Charlene Schmuland- Data Coordinator
Charlene started volunteering 2-3 days a week at the Food Recovery Depot in 2020 and was hooked. She loved the people in management and volunteers, all with one goal in mind: helping our community. After moving to the Okanagan in 2022, she now works remotely as a Data Entry Clerk for the Food Recovery Depot. She feels a deep sense of connection to Healthy Kimberley and the programs being run. Jessica Kazemi- Operations Coordinator
Passionate about food and community, Jessica brings experience in many facets of food security, ranging from running a farmer's market to cooking for families through local community meal programs. With almost 20 years of professional cooking experience and an equal amount of time spent working for various non-profit organizations, Jessica is Operations Coordinator with the Food Recovery Depot.
