Healthy Kimberley is dedicated to making healthy choices more attainable and welcoming for everyone in our community. Founded by passionate health professionals in Kimberley, our growing group embodies the belief that healthy living is vital and that prevention triumphs over treatment.
Healthy Kimberley champions initiatives that embrace the whole Kimberley community, shining a special light on children youth, and seniors. Our mission is to heighten awareness of existing community treasures and resources, foster collaboration, and dissolve barriers to participation.
We are forging collaborations with key community stakeholders to:
1) Inspire and promote healthy activities, facilities, and events that enrich Kimberley.
2) Partner with SCOPE BC to advocate for their evidence-based message, Live 5-2-1-0, joining countless communities across British Columbia on the journey to build healthier populations.
3) Encourage innovative, community-driven research on healthy activities and nutrition, examining their transformative effects on population health.
